Maciano's just opened recently and Ive been there four times. The first time I went there I had Chicken picatta which was delicious with capers. The service was excellent. Second time I was there on a Saturday night and found there to be young kids that were not well behaved talking loud and standing on there nice new furniture and the parents were oblivious. The third time I ordered there delicious thin crust pizza with toppings of tomato, onions, and mushrooms..It was absolutely delicious and even went back a fourth time. The owners and staff are very nice and really do everything they can to accommodate you. So happy that they are in Vernon Hills.

Maciano's is a real sleeper. Don't be fooled by the outside. The inside has a nice, cozy atmosphere. Our pizza was hot and delicious. And the prices are right in line. Will definitely go again.

If you like cracker-thin piping hot pizza this is the place for you. Tried lasagna tonight. Excellent. 40s music in the background. Cozy setting, so come early.

The decor is stylish and clean. Warm bread and salads that feature more than a bunch of lettuce were yummy. The pizza was good and it had plenty of cheese with a crispy crust. A nice bottle of cold water with lemon was brought to the table. They go the extra mile above a typical pizza place. Service was good. Best part was a real cardboard box instead of a paper sleeve for leftovers. Only negatives were the taste of the olive oil and the prices for a single glass of wine. If they lowered them a bit, I think more people would order wine with dinner. Overall, a really nice experience.

Ate dinner here with my family and was pleasantly surprised! It has a fine dining feel, a warm ambiance, and a good menu selection. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was excellent! We had mussels and stuffed mushrooms to start and they were both A+! Dinner was chicken limone and gluten free pasta. And since we were having such a great time, we stayed for dessert, which was tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was delicious! In addition to a great selection of food, they also offer a nice selection of wine and beer. These weren't your run of the mill wines - these were well thought out, high quality wines. My only regret is that Maciano's isn't closer to home, because we would definitely go back!

Takeout pizza only. Ordered the pan style specialty pizza with sausage, onion, bacon and BBQ sauce. My son loved it and I thought it was OK but would have been better on another crust style. Also got double dough style with the vegetarian specialty and my wife was happy with it. Need to try some of the none pizza dishes and maybe eat in.

I just ordered carry out for my family and I, we had tried the pizza and that was not horrible. This was delivered hot. However this time around was horrible!! One of our pasta dishes was over cooked no sauce.. The next dish of tortellini's were over sauced and it was all watery. Our stuffed mushrooms were soggy and doughy. Also ordering the pasta meals you get garlic bread.. that was not with the meals at all. The food was so gross I couldn't even eat it, no one wanted to eat it, I had to cook something else so late at night (7:30) my 2 years old was hungry and tired at this point. I had called to speak with the Manger, who's name was Marz and he argued with me the whole time and only wanted to offer a 25 dollar credit for next time, it was nice but that was way less then what I had just spent. I had explained, Im sorry Im so upset that that there was not going to be a next time and the credit was never going to be used and please could please credit my credit card, the food was to horrible to even eat, look at and after seeing the mushrooms I didn't even want to eat. This was just turning not into a even bigger situation, I stressed to him that I was getting frustrated and he proceeded to still argue with me then tell me that the delivery was still with in the hour. Also that it was because I live to far away.. the menu says they deliver to my area of Libertyville, I live in Downtown Libertyville area by the train station, not far and I'm no more then 10 min if that away from this establishment. They attached the order slip to our order and it was entered in at 6:24, and didn't not arrive to my house until 7:25 about the time I called when I got the food out of the bag. ( Side note: how does two pasta dishes and fried mushroom take a hour?? I can understand if they were busy but that food was entered in at 6:24, three easy things in the restaurant business, and I have even worked for many restaurants being waitress, restaurants that have always had 5 stars, and that was took long for food to even sit there ) I told him that the food just arrived to us, he argued with me again and told me no it didn't, why do you think Im calling now. I just got it I had explained. With all this horrible service, and food quality I will never send anyone to this place, my clients, my family my friends. Not only that if I don't see that my card is credited. I will take this situation and dispute the charges from this establishment. Then I will repost as to how this whole situation was handed. So please be advised before ordering from here. I have never been this upset.

The bread was warm and flaky. Wish butter was served with it. Ordered cup of minestrone soup which had a bit of a "kick" to it but I got used to it. I would prefer more vegetables and less pasta in it. Water was always available as they gave a carafe with a lemon it without asking. Ordered lasagna with the meat sauce instead of marinara and wow it was good. Very cheesy. Slightly sweet perhaps almost too sweet for me but I'm more sensitive to sweet than I used to be. I will likely be back. I also like the music and atmosphere here. And I had the cheesecake with strawberry sauce. Oh that was good too. Maybe I found a replacement for leonas that I used to love.

What a great addition to the area (I have to admit it has been a couple of months since I have been here) . I have tried both on-premise and delivery at Maciano's and both have been great. The food delivered arrives steaming hot, and the ingredients are delectable. They do not spare quantity of any of the ingredients on their pizza and the veggies are fresh and chunky, not stale and shriveled like most of the large chain pizza companies. The ambiance in the restaurant is intimate and tastefully decorated. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the food. The online ordering is easy and smooth. And, Eddie C:: they must have listened to you because (at least online) they have 16", 18", and 20" pizza sizes. I have already eaten dinner or gotten delivery 3 times this week!

I love it! I despise Italian food but they pulled it off. I was expecting to sit at a cramped, strip mall store in front of a window in a bath of neon lights as I would at the other pizza-serving places around here. I was pleasantly surprised. Maciano's is beautiful. Beautiful. Rich colors, warm lights, excellent music and decor. The menu is expansive, the servers so welcoming, and they serve thin crust too. I will definitely go back.

Stopped in earlier today and it's a cute new restaurant that has dine in/to go & delivery. I grabbed a menu for later and decided to give it a try for delivery. The spinach classic thin crust was good enough but nothing extraordinary. The tortellini alla vodka was disappointing the sauce lacked flavor and the pasta was overcooked and the cheese filling lacked flavor. The house salad was good quality for the price. Overall the experience was average, not sure I would hurry back. The delivery service was fast and efficient though.

Carryout disappoints Eaten in before and it was very good. I did carry out tonight and it was barely lukewarm after a ride home of less than 5 minutes.

Really classy Italian restaurant/pizzeria. Nice decor, plenty of large booths, good atmosphere. Nice menu selection. We had a stuffed pizza with Italian beef and hot peppers. It was spot on- delicious! Just a heads up though the stuffed pizzas and deep dish pizzas take an extra bit of time to bake. Worth the wait! The French fries were also well seasoned and tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly.

The food? It's pretty good. Italian food isn't exactly breaking new ground. The chicken Limon was delicious and tender. The roasted potatoes seem to be more filler than anything inspired. However, ubaldo, our server made the evening a night to remember. From the minute we walked in the door his attitude was chipper and delighyful. You can tell he is having a good time and wants to give you a good time too. I personally think Italian food is the Dane cook of cuisines, but ubaldo was such a treat I would totally eat here again. Ask for ubaldo!

Delicious food. Very elegant atmosphere for the size. We ordered the breaded mushrooms, white pizza, and Italian beef with pineapple pizza. Very tasty. A little on the pricey side.

Hello my fellow good chaps. Now, you may be wondering, "What is this dimwit doing by rating this restaurant 1 star?" Well here is why I am giving this rating based on my three past experiences here. Now I shall explain myself. Once me and my buds went here, we ordered some entrees. We waited for the food to come and once it did, we received our pizzas. The regular cheese pizzas did have some good flavor to it. The next week once me and a couple of buds came here, we tried the food and we must say it was fairly decent. The calamari had a nice touch to it and the fluffy white bread was swell. However, here comes the downfall.... The week after this, me and my buds decided to come here and I must say that our waitress did not give us the kindness and skill you would expect at a "classy" restaurant. The food we received on this day was also not particularly good. We decided to order full entrees this time since we felt adventurous that day. I ordered a chicken entree with pasta in it and it was absolutely hideous. From my past experiences in Italy. I have always tastes authentic Italian food. This restaurant has none of this. Yes the decor inside is exceptionally swell. But here is where the fun stops. My chicken entree was most certainly flavorless. The particular reason to this is that it was overcooked (it most likely was.) the pasta on the dish also had no flavor at all. The tomato on it made me gag by how tasteless it was. This is by no means Italian food. Overall, what I must say is this. The first two days here were good. The calamari was delicious and the regular pizza we ordered was alright. Our third stay here was not good at all based on the waitress, and the horrible chicken with pasta. The rudeness from the waitress, as well as the overlooked flavorless chicken and tomato pasta basically ruined my stay. That is why this restaurant is shit.

Tried to make reservation for a party of eight. They do not take reservation and told us that it would be really busy at 6:30.got there a little earlier so we could get a table . There wind up being only seven of us. First thing the waitress brought us water carafe and three dirty glasses. Asked for new ones no problem. The testified party arrived and had to wait for water . Six adults ordered meals and one kids meal.they advertise "two for Tuesday " purchase one entree and receive 1/2 off the 2nd entree. Food was ok service just ok. When the waitress brought the bill they only took one entree half off. Asked her why two more where not half price. She sent the manager over to tell us it was a coupon? It says right in the menu buy one get one half off.he kept arguing with us. We said fine we won't be back, then he said its on him. Instead of us leaving he kept coming back to our table to argue with us . The waitress had our credit card so we couldn't leave. He kept coming to the table to argue with us. What a terrible experience .

The food was good- a bit salty- but good service was terrible. we called for delivery- we were told an hour. This was at 525pm. We called again at 630 and were told they didn't have our order. We then talked to a manager who said the food would be there. AT 7pm we called again- they hung up on us. We called again - they could not get in touch with the driver. Finally at 730 the food came- 2 hours later. The horrible part is they are 5 minutes from my house.....they either need new management or new drivers, as their customer service is pretty bad....

Great pizza place in the burbs without the hassle! We ordered the large thin crust pepperoni pizza. The cheese is golden brown with dried Italian herbs and spices. Delicious sauce although the cheese tends to slide off the crispy crust. The large is only 14" which is enough for 2 hungry adults so order a 2nd if it's a party of 4. I wish they had a 16 or 20" pizza. Stay awhile and eat in! The food is a great value for what you get. Free Italian bread was brought to our table and I quickly reached for the olive, oil, parmesian cheese, and pepper grinder to make a tasty oil for the bread. Wine is basic but mostly $20-30 for a bottle so a good deal. Also ordered the soup of the day which was wild mushroom. A little on the thick creamy side but wasn't too salty which is common when ordering soup out. Chocolate chip cookies are divine- large with different chocolate chunks and chips and only $1.49 Ubaldo was a great server. His service was prompt and attentive while frequently checkeling in on us. I know they do a lot of carry out business but then you miss the comfortable dining experience. This place is tucked away in a small unassuming strip mall. They appear to have a lot of carryout orders and the modest sized dining room has a cozy feel. The decor makes you think you're in a fine Italian restaurant. It's actually a comforting environment with quality finishes and an attention to detail that makes you think your final bill will be much higher. No expense was sparred! The large fresca style painting is the focal point of the room with campy depictions of "la dolce vita" Italian lifestyle. Stone stacked walls, wood floors, dimmed lighting, rich earth tones, real cloth napkins, leatherlike booths with wood tops, wood salt shakers and pepper grinders. There is Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, and classic standards playing overhead on a quality sound system which sets a nostalgic mood.

Comfortable Italian restaurant with a nice cozy decor. The food here is presented nicely, fresh, home made, and has very good textures -- however the flavors fall a bit short of expectations. If the flavors can be refined, this restaurant will definitely earn five stars as the textures are consistently excellent. Bread - Very crispy exterior with a very fluffy interior. Very nice meatiness to the bread, but it lacked flavor. Mussells Possilipo - A little small on the portion size, cooked decently well though. The tomato sauce had a good amount of spiciness to it although I would've preferred to have a little bit of a creaminess to it and be much less salty. Tortellini Alla Vodka - The tortellini has a great texture to it -- firm around the ring but thin and soft on the borders. Sauce is light, but not my favorite flavor combination. The pizzas were much better than the other dishes I tried: Hawaiian Luau Thin Crust Pizza: Thin, almost flatbread like crush. Very juicy preparation with just the right amount of barbeque sauce to not be overpowering and the right amount of pineapple to not be too acidic. Although the crust did have a good texture, it wasn't too flavorful -- almost like eating water crackers. Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza with Mushrooms: Fresh taste and good ingredients but not as good as Lou Malnati's or Giordano's. The cheese is nice and stringy, the tomato sauce is light and fresh, and the crust has a very nice texture and consistency to it. However, the pizza overall lacked any addictive aroma. Overall, the food here is presented nicely and the textures are consistently good -- however, the flavors are too light and lack complexity. If the flavors can be refined, this restaurant has the potential to be considered excellent.

We've eaten here a couple of times now and tried a variety of entries including the chicken limone, lasagna, pizza, and pasta Via Mia! Our typical make-or-break dish is chicken limone and it was superb with a nice light sauce, capers and, of course lemons! The pizza was awesome with a great flakey crust, tasty sauce, and really flavorful sausage! All of the entrees have been delicious, done to our liking and good sized portions! The hot fresh bread, olive oil and Parmesan cheese is a great start to your visit. The wait staff is pleasant, and the mostly Sinatra style music is a very nice touch. Our visits have been in the evening for dinner and the ambiance was quite nice! I think I just found a new go-to restaurant! Hat's off to Maciano's! You got it right!

We went here to celebrate a birthday on Saturday night, our group (of 4) found it just moderately crowded, and very delicious ! We all had entrees. The Chiken Limon and the Tortellini ala Vodka creme sauce was especially delicious ! Service was great, attentive and friendly. The chocolate cake, at the end, was fantastic, we were over the moon!

I ordered delivery tonight from Maciano's. I couldn't decide what to order so I ordered a pizza and a dish of pasta, planning to have a bunch of leftovers. I wanted a pan pizza, so I had to get a 14 inch which is eight slices. While the pizza was super cheesy, it was also very greasy. I was not crazy about the crust and now wish that I'd have gone with the thin crust. For pasta I ordered the mostaccioli with meat sauce. I paid a little extra for melted cheese on top. It was very good! The garlic bread was tasty too. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It was easy to place my order online. Delivery was prompt and I liked being able to track my order online. Food was hot when delivered. I would order from Maciano's again, just not the pan pizza.

We have been eating at Maciano's once or twice a week since it opened. We have received exceptional service at all times. We are retired and my husband uses a cane. Sheryl - one of the servers takes time always to chat with us and make us feel welcomed. Mars - the manager is exceptional, also. He always takes the time to come and say hello. What a great addition to the Vernon Hills Family. Thank you Mars, Sheryl and the rest of the staff for their quality service.

Loved the pizza. Went there to celebrate my birthday and Cheryl took great care of the group of us frequently checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed or wanted. It is comfortable and casual. If you don't try it you will miss a great place. Kim T.

Very good Italian food at reasonable prices. I had the tortellini with meat sauce and my husband had the shrimp arrabiata. We both thought the food was very good. I'm Italian so I can be picky about the sauce and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good their Bolognese sauce was. The restaurant is small, but a surprise being that it is in a strip center, you don't expect it to be so quaint and upscale inside. We will go back again to try other things including their pizza which looked delicious coming out of the oven!

Stopped in for a slice even though I wasn't sure if they were open yet. The windows are tinted and they don't have an open sign in front yet--that I could see anyway. I wish I could have sat down and had a real meal to get a better understanding of their food quality. I just wanted something to-go today since it was just my lunch hour and I was by myself. The pizza slices are huge. For $5 you get a slice and a can of soda. I barely finished my slice. It was good. I'll definitely be back, and if the food is good, I'll give them 5 stars

This was the worst experience I had ever had. Our server Cheryl was so unattentive. She gave me an attitude that was completely rude. I don't recommend coming here. This was the last time I am ever eating here again.

I have been very happy with my experience with this restaurant, both dine in and delivery. The thin crust pizza here is amazing! We also ordered the tortellini ala vodka and the ravioli pomodoro, both were delicious! Service was great, both while dining in and for delivery. My only complain was that I was served cold stale bread, but they immediately replaced it a fresh loaf when I told the server.

Decided to treat my elderly handicap mother to dinner and we decided to go here. First of all, the people picking up their food had parked in the striped area of the handicap parking space. This did not allow us ample room to help my mother out of the car. Second, we were immediately seated but after 20 mins, no one had come to our table to get our drink order or dinner order. People who were seated after us were being waited on. We finally got up to leave and I told the cashier that no one acknowledged were there or took our order. Some guy came out apologizing and offered to comp our meal. I said no and that we were going somewhere else. I doubt I'll ever go back. Not worth the hassle especially when Portillos is down the street.

I am a regular at the Yorkville location, while visiting my gf in Vernon Hills I was delighted to find out that Macianos opened here. We have tried a few pizzrias in the area and none ever compared. Although smaller it still has the quaint charm of Yorkville and the qualities spot on!!! Servers are friendly and accommodating. Their pizzas always have the right balances cheese to sauce ratio with no skimping on the added meats and condiments. I also appreciate that they offer the choice of signature sauces for added variety of their pizzas!! For those of you in doubt I would definitely recommend Macianos you will become a regular as I have for the past seven years.

This was a horrible experience. My wife called to order a pizza on November 22nd. We were told it would take one hour for delivery or 20 minutes for pickup. So we told them I'd pick it up. When I arrived, they had no record of our order, so I paid for a rushed order. Not even ten minutes later my wife called to say they delivered the pizza (we didn't want delivery) and my son, not knowing paid. So, we paid twice for their mix up. Next time I'll trust Pizza Hut even though I don't like their pizza, but we never experienced anything like this with either Domino's or Pizza Hut, but at least they have their act together.

it's a chicagoarea mini-chain (9 locations)! the vernon hills location is apparently newly opened and has caught on with the local populace. on a saturday evening they were packed and seemed slightly overwhelmed. the waiting area is pretty small and we spilled into the walking areas for the servers. victims of their own success, perhaps? the dining area is kinda small and our wait was about 30mins. the service and wait for food was slightly longer than usual, as one would expect from a kitchen that was... slightly overwhelmed. they do give you a bread roll with olive oil to gnaw on. the food itself was good/borderline very good. we didn't get the pizza, which looked and smelled delicious, but the pasta dishes were solid. my meatball(s) were a tad overcooked/rubbery though. alas. in the future i could see myself doing carryout for their pizza. or making a reservation, then coming here. but i probably wouldn't try walking in on a busy night (weekends, probably?).

Ordered their gluten free and it tasted very good...however got me super sick all night after...I dont think they served me gluten free. They also told me the minestrone was gluten free...until I discovered pasta in it! Disappointed and I paid for it dearly!!

Their pizza and pasta are very good. Although word of caution, they are a little heavy handed with the garlic and sauce. I order everything with light sauce and easy on the garlic. I would also recommend an order of the cinnamon sticks. Highly addictive.

Ed G. This was our first time to this restaurant which opened three days ago. The restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking. The inside is very open and attractive. For starters the bread that was brought to the table was freshly baked and delicious. The dipping olive oil was of very high quality as was the parmesan cheese. Our caesar salads were of ample size and the romaine was very fresh. We shared a very tasty vegetarian pan pizza which was also made with fresh ingredients. Our server was very friendly and attentive as was the manager. We live less than a mile away and we are thrilled that they have opened near us.

This place was recommended to me, so I thought I'd try it out on a Sunday. We went at 6pm and there was a small wait. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was pretty good and eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was ok, too well done, a little burnt. It came over a lot of pasta, which was pretty good. The rest of the table had veal Parmesan, which he said was fair, and a pizza with veggies on it. The onion on the pizza was raw, and my friend would have preferred it cooked. Otherwise, they said the pizza was pretty good. Service was good, the people working there were very nice.

We took our family to Maciano's this past weekend and were surprised by what transpired: cold food and out of touch Owner who was clearly out of his element running a restaurant. This past Friday evening, our family of four decided to try Maciano's Pizza & Pastaria for the first time. After being seated and ordering, our appetizer's took no less than 30 minutes to show up. When they finally were served, they were undercooked and portions were actually frozen! which took us completely by surprise. When we asked our server, she was clearly at a loss, so while we continued to wait on our entree's, we asked to speak to the Mgr, since we'd originally thought that all appetizers and entree's were made "from scratch." Needless to say, a manager stopped by and rudely explained that "you get what you get," and became extremely defensive when my wife asked them to replace the appetizer. Having gone out of our way to dine out at this new chain, we asked to speak to whoever the owner was. A young guy came out (20's), claiming he in fact, was the owner. When we discussed our experience to that point, he "guaranteed" that our remaining visit would be one we'd never forget. (Though he never apologized for the "manager's" conduct.) Suffice it to say, was he RIGHT. Right, that is about an experience we'd never forget. However, not in a good way: My Wife's Lasagna was ice-cold/practically frozen in the center, the cheese was watered down and lukewarm and our soups were not even room temperature (let alone steamy hot) and our children's entree's were undercooked and in a word, gross. When the Owner (Marz he said his name was) reappeared, he had no answers for us or another table that was airing their complaints about undercooked, cold, and inedible cuisine. So, he begged us to try the pizza and promised gift certificates for our "next visit." When we acquiesced, it took them 55 minutes for an extra large thin crust pizza! Upon arrival, the cheese (once again was watery, greasy and inedible), indicative of either poor equipment, poor chef's or more likely really poor quality control. We asked our server (who at this point we felt sorry for) to bring the check and when the owner showed up again, we informed him that ( 2 hours in) we'd given Maciano's numerous opportunities to make good on our orders and they never got it right. We even suggested to (Mr. Marz) that they should have known or tested their recipe's, equipment and due-diligence prior to opening the restaurant, to which the owner scoffed and swore under his breath-really unprofessional and reprehensible behavior. Again, with our children and the two of us famished we ended up taking our family to Barnelli's (which never disappoints) at Portillo's 5 minutes away for a Pasta dinner that was head & shoulder's superior to the disorganized and unacceptable Maciano's experience. The Maciano's Franchise should really Vet who they are selling franchises to to ensure that customer's aren't mistreated the way our family was. What a fiasco.

We ate here on Saturday 4/11/15. We had never eaten here before and were eating with another couple. The service was good, no complaints there. Our waitress was kind and attentive. My gripe is with the food that was served. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana, my wife ordered Baked Lasagna, the other couple ordered a small pizza and tortellini Ala vodka. the Pizza, Chicken Parm, and Tortellini came out first and the lasagna sauce was being "made". My chicken parm was cold with very little sauce on it, and was not presented well on the plate, the tortellini looked to be drowning in the vodka sauce. The pizza looked to be the only appetizing thing. The baked lasagna came out and had barely any sauce and looked to be microwaved, not baked. It was extremely oily, and bland in flavor. needless the say the only dish that was finished was the pizza. I do not recommend eating here as the food quality is very suspect. I do not think we will be going back. it is not that hard to produce decent Italian food, and there are plenty of other options in the area for good Italian.

My friends and I went to Maciano's on Sunday late afternoon. What a WONDERFUL experience!! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and were seated at a very comfortable booth. The pizza we ordered was absolutely delicious!!! The server was attentive and took very good care of us. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. Prices were fair and what we expected. Can't wait to go back!!!

Great thin crust pizza, in fact I'd day its the best around. The crust was crispy and great fresh ingredients. They messed up our order so we had to wait for a second pizza to be made. It was worth the wait. I'll definitely be back

I like this place. The white pizza, regular thin pepperoni pizza and salads are what we tried and everything tasted great. More than the food, the restaurant is nice and clean with good people to serve you so it's a good experience. In addition to pizza, the menu has a nice variety of italian dishes, wines, desserts, etc. We'll definitely be back.

Went in for lunch during week. Was no more than 4 tables in restaurant with customers at one time, 2 waitresses yet we had the worst service ever. Food was okay. Waitress gave out table pizza and next table their pizza. Next table cut pizza, put on their dish and was ready to dive in when one of them noticed it was not what they ordered. Waitress came and took my pizza and switched it with other tables pizza to correct error. Isn't that tacky to give me the pizza another table already cut into etc.? I don't think the reviews for this restaurant are accurate. I had the thin crust pizza and someone here said it was a cracker thin crust. Not at all, the thin crust was actually kinda thick and tasted like one of the crusts you buy at grocery store and make your own pizza. Fresh bread at table was delicious but not cut all the way and no cutting knife was available and butter knife wasn't sharp enough to get through the thick crusted bread. I don't always want another person's hands holding the load of bread to yank their piece off. Management seems clueless to what goes on.

I was not impressed at all. They should've constructed the restaurant with more space. The place is way too small. They should specialize in lunch or catering simply not enough room to advertise as a dinner restaurant. The waiting area consists of a small bench right next to the door so every time the door opens you're feeling it and people are constantly coming in to pick up carryout so no matter where you stand you are in the way. Poor set-up. There is no bar thumbs down on that one. The pasta was overcooked. I ordered the tortellini husband ordered the lasagna. Tortellini was huge disappointment tasted terrible like cheap frozen pasta that was overcooked and looked like ravioli. Lasagna was huge blob of pasta and cheese no meat. They had great service, attentive but wait was super long and pasta was not good. Cannoli was good. If you are going to go, visit during the week not on a weekend.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
